About Fairview Audit

Fairview Audit connects businesses with finance professionals and partner firms that review costs and contracts. A business submits a request. Fairview routes it to a fitting firm. The firm and the business then work together. This page explains who we are, how matching works and where our role ends.

Who Fairview is

Fairview is a connection service. We exist because many businesses pay bills and contracts for years without checking them against what was agreed. Outside reviewers can do that checking, but finding a suitable one takes time. Fairview shortens that search.

We do not employ the reviewers. The firms in our network run their own work and their own engagements. Pages on this site cover cost categories, not individual firms, and will grow as more firms join.

How matching works

A business starts on one of three request paths: larger business, smaller business, or not sure or another need. Each path leads to its own form.

  • On the larger and smaller paths, the request goes to the matched partner firm.
  • On the not sure path, the request comes to Fairview first, and we match it by hand.

There is no fixed size cut-off between the first two paths. After matching, the firm contacts you and you talk with it directly. See How it works for the full sequence.

What Fairview does

  • Publishes plain descriptions of cost categories on the Services page.
  • Collects your request and routes it to a partner firm.
  • Matches unusual or unclear requests by hand.
  • Publishes information about firms only with their written approval.

What Fairview does not do

  • Fairview does not audit, review, recover or correct anything itself.
  • Fairview does not give tax, accounting, legal or investment advice.
  • Fairview is not a party to your engagement with a firm.
  • Fairview does not promise savings, refunds or results.

Fees, if any, are set by the firm and agreed between you and the firm under the firm's own terms.

Why we publish categories, not firms

Firms change over time. Some leave the network and others arrive. Pages built around a single firm would go out of date, and they would invite readers to judge a firm by its page rather than by a conversation. Pages built around cost categories stay useful whichever firm is matched to your request.

Each category page describes what a review looks at, what you provide and what happens after you submit. Read Lease audit and compliance to see the pattern.

Disclosure

Note: Partners are independent firms. Fairview is paid a referral fee by partner firms. We state both plainly so you can weigh them before you make a request.

Our approach to what we publish

We try to keep this site plain. We do not publish statistics, savings claims or rankings. Where a statement would need support from a firm, we mark it for confirmation and wait for the firm to supply it in writing. The Disclaimer explains the limits of the general information on this site.

For firms

If you run a firm that reviews costs or contracts, you can learn what Fairview offers and what we ask in return on the Become a partner page. Firms provide the categories they cover, a size range, a territory and a way to receive requests. Nothing about a firm is published until the firm approves it in writing.

Who this site is for

The site is written for business owners, finance leads and controllers. You may be checking a lease before renewal, or looking at supplier invoices that seem to have grown. You do not need an accounting background to read our pages. Where a term has a specific meaning, the Glossary explains it in plain words.
